Looking towards Cardiff on the Cardiff Railway Line. The line was eleven miles long and ran between Heath and Treforest. Passengers used the train from Rhydyfelin to Treforest on 1 March 1911, which journey was said to be the only occasion that a passenger train was to cross the nearby Dyffryn Bridge. The section between Rhydyfelin and Heath continued until 20 July 1931. Donated by D K Jones. Any requests for copies to be forwarded to Mr D K Jones.
